In Pleszew at ul. Short, in the former smithy building there is the Pleszewski Craft Memorial Museum. It has been decorated thanks to the determination of Tomasz Vogt - the owner of the oldest bakery and Pleasure Museum operating in Pleszew. He bought a forge building, renovated and adapted it to the needs of a small museum. The exhibition was arranged as a dozen workshops of craftsmen of various specialties. You can see here, among others the position of potter, shoemaker, saddler, coaster, hairdresser, carpenter and others The equipment of often historic workshops has been acquired thanks to the favor of local craftsmen. The forge building itself was built in 1915, built by Wilhelm Stelman and bought in 1923 by Józef Urban, who came to Pleszew from emigration from the United States. He worked here for 50 years, later his son Teodor took over the forge. In the second part of the building there is a bakery - confectionery Stara Kuźnia (company shop of the museum and bakery owner).
