Respect for the person who came up with the idea of ​​developing this monument in this way. He doesn't believe that he would have survived to our times otherwise. We have here a part of German history, KRIEGERDENKMAL, a monument dedicated to the memory of those killed in the years 1914 - 1918. On one of the photos of this monument from that period there is a description saying that it is a NEW MONUMENT, if there was any earlier. At the top, there was the inscription: ZUM EHRENDEN GEDACHTNIS USERER GEFALLENEN, or the HONEST MEMORY of OUR DEAD. A festival called HELDENGEDENKTAG, or HERO MEMORIAL DAY, was celebrated here. It was a mobile state holiday restored in 1934, falling on Sunday, March 16, or the next Sunday before March 16. There is a photo presenting this ceremony in front of this monument with the description "Arnswalde 1938". In 1938 it would be on March 14. Thanks to ingenuity, the monument has survived, even the commune did not destroy it, and what happened to the monument dedicated to fallen Red Army soldiers.
