Zuckerfabrik Arnswalde Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (limited liability company) - the pride of Arnswalde. The largest plant working for the needs of the entire region. It started in full swing on 01/10/1896. Unfortunately, the war did its job. Due to its location on the edge of the city, the factory became an important point of defense against the advancing Red Army. Here she attacked, among others 311st Rifle Division and in Zamecin, Russian artillery was deployed between the houses. The war damage as well as the actions of the Trophy Brigades did their job. Arnswalde's pride was forgotten. Only photos are left. The marker shows the location of the chimney.
