Until 1945, the Church of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Grudziądz was an Evangelical church. It was built in the years 1896-1898 for the Evangelical commune, in the neo-Gothic style typical of the Berlin architectural school, it does not refer to the Gothic architecture of this region. The church is built of brick on the north-south axis. The interior is three-nave, with a transept and a shallow rectangular chancel. It had a tower that was 67 m high, but it did not survive the Second World War. During the Second Polish Republic, the church belonged to an evangelical commune with a German national face. During the fights for the city in 1945, the church was seriously damaged, the tower was destroyed and the interior was completely devastated. In August 1958, the church was taken over by the Marian Fathers, who took over its reconstruction and modernization of the interior. Only the large crucifix in the presbytery stands out from the modern furnishings. - Until 1945, the Church of Immaculate Heart Blessed Virgin Mary in Grudziądz was an Evangelical church. A church where priests deliver thoughtful sermons that actually have pastoral value. It's worth coming and listening

I have been practically associated with this place since I was a child although I have never been to my parish, I always feel the spirit of prayer
