This is one of the most beautiful places in the Lublin region that I have visited. The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Garbów is a brick church built in the years 1907 - 1911 according to the design of the architect Józef Pius Dziekoński in 1915, damaged by an allyleric missile, restored in 1922. The church was built in the neo-Gothic style, the church has 3 naves and 2 chapel. Two 75-meter-high towers dominate the elevation of the temple, above the nave there is a turret for a bell. There are two wooden altars in the neo-Gothic style by the presbytery. There are two paintings in the main altar: The Transfiguration of the Lord and St. Adalbert. In the left chapel there is an altar with the scene of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the image of Our Lady of the Rosary, in the right - Saint Leonard and Saint Anthony. The benches in the main name, the pulpit and the baptismal font represent the neo-Gothic style, the choir features a Biernacki organ from 1929, the windows are beautifully presented with stained glass windows made in Warsaw in 1921 by the artist Białkowski, in the wall surrounding the temple, four chapels with large figures of saints they are empty, as in some parishes you can see order and order everywhere I regret that I could not enter the temple but despite my efforts I could not get in touch with the temple owners, I would like to visit all these churches again when this bad time passes so that I can show you their unique atmosphere and decor
