Oak itself disappointed us a bit ... but the road is interesting - through the old cemetery and the gorge.

An important place in the history of Kazimierz, but unfortunately very neglected. The oak itself is doing well and looks impressive.

In our culture, oaks are special trees. Their majestic appearance and longevity cause that they have been worshiped for centuries, especially those that were struck by lightning bolts, believed, by god Perun. And although the Slavic mythology was supplanted by Christianity, the trees were to be protected by box chapels with the Virgin Mary placed in the branches. This oak is growing on Dębowe Góry Street about 1 minute after leaving the cemetery, going to ul. Solar.

A nice place, just right for photos. The original Oak does not exist, the current tree was planted after the war.
