The current stone temple was built on the basis of plans of Christian Piotr Aigner thanks to the efforts of priest J. Myszkiewicz in 1841 and expanded in 1884 during the office of priest W. Sienkiewicz. It is the third church built in this place. During World War I in 1915, the building was partially destroyed, in the years 1923-1926 it was rebuilt thanks to the efforts of the priest. Dabrowski. Destroyed again in 1944, it was rebuilt by priests A. Kowalczyk and H. Pogorzelski. Thanks to the efforts of priest Uszyński in 1978, the aisles were extended and thus: chapels and sacristies. Recently, the temple has been restored inside and outside and received new furnishings (including the altar, baptismal font, benches, chandeliers).
