The first church in this place stood at the end of the 17th century, it was a wooden church that has no trace. The present church was built in 1857 during the construction of the railway line from Krzyża to Gorzów Wlkp. It presents the neo-Gothic style, built on the Latin cross plan of a characteristic brick, produced in the nearby brickyard in Murzynów. The church has no belfry, and the interior is unusual and simple, with visible elements of the roof truss. The temple, which is a subsidiary church of the parish in Stary Polichno, has been entered in the register of monuments. - The first church in this place stood at the end of the 17th century, it was a wooden church that has no trace.
