A memorial site - just as important as the other camps where the horrors of WWII took place. Being in the area, I decided to at least explore the area from the outside. There are still posts from the main entrance gate and a partial barbed wire fence. The museum takes up half of one of the barracks, in the other half someone lives ... Many buildings survived the turmoil of the war - they were mostly made of brick (unlike, for example, in Gross-Rosen). I don't know if it's good - people still live there today - I can't imagine staying in such a place any longer, let alone staying there permanently ...

Unfortunately, the museum is closed. It is said that due to extension and renovation it will be closed for over a year.

Who watched the movie "The Great Escape" is certainly impressed by the will to fight and patriotism of the Allied pilots-prisoners of the German stalag at Żagań. After visiting "two ce" oflag you will be proud that you are Polish.

An ideal place to learn a piece of history and to reflect on the values that are important in life and which we forget in today's world. Three generations of my family went to the museum - everyone liked it, even the children. Thank you to those who care about this place and greetings from the Woldenberg Family.
