Very beautiful church of St. Lawrence with a rich history of its creation. A church with a beautiful baroque structure. A place worth visiting and seeing. I highly recommend this church 👍👍👍

St. Lawrence in Babimost was built in the years 1734-1740 on the site of the previous one, which was destroyed by fire. In the past, Babimost was the property of the Cistercians from Obra, who had pastoral care here already in the 13th century. In 1656, the Swedes captured Babimost twice, burned the local parish priest and curate, and then the city, and murdered the population. The church is a late baroque building, the façade in the upper part is classicist. Inside there is a brick choir from 1740, a late Gothic polyptych from 1499 and three baroque altars from the 17th and 18th centuries. - Church of St. Wawrzyniec in Babimost was built in 1734-1740 on the site of the previous one, destroyed by a fire. A beautiful church ⛪ Evangelical worth visiting due to age. I highly recommend it to everyone.
