A place for a momentary rest on the road with a bit of history in the background. Unfortunately, the area without toilet and the ubiquitous "smells" spoil the image of the monument.

A few days ago there were commemorative skydiving in this place. :-)

Historic place I recommend. Next to it, there is a place to stop and rest, possibly a small camping

The parachutists' monument near Sokołow commemorates Polish and Soviet paratroopers who operated within the Noteć Forest in autumn and winter 1944, gathering information about German troops. He stands at their landing site on September 7, 1944. The names of eleven soldiers and a commemorative plaque in the memory of Józef and Franciszka Furman are mentioned on the plinth, who were murdered in a German concentration camp for helping two paratroopers. In February 2015, the monument was seriously devastated by unknown perpetrators. - The paratroopers's monument near Sokolov commemorates Polish and Soviet paratroopers who operated within Notecka Forest in autumn and winter 1944, gathering information about German troops. A historical place of memory that would be nice to refresh.
