Nice historical place with an inspiring then sad story about traveler Arkady Fiedler.

This place may be good for kids, but otherwise, the 'artefacts' are fake and of low quality and were not made by Arkady. His story is definitely amazing and the inside of the house is interesting but all the rest is a bit Disneyland and has no museum value. For us it was a waste of time.

A wonderful small museum run by the family of Arkady Fiedler, the traveller and writer. His biggest best-seller was Squadron 303, detailing the achievements of the 303 Polish Squadron during the Battle of Britain. This and other books helped fund a life of travel. Anyone who likes travelling will love this place. It is not a dry and dusty museum collection, but a wonderful mishmash of cultural artefacts, books, photos, memories and curiosities conjuring up a lifetime of travel and writing. It’s easy to visit the museum by train from Poznań. Around the corner there starts a good walk along the Warta.
