The object currently standing in the park in Konstantynów is not the Gałecki manor house, but a disgusting, stylish monster erected on the site of the larch manor house "Konstantynówka", which was demolished by the Catholic University of Lublin in 1994. shown in the postcard below. I lived in this house in 1982-1994. After we were displaced, the wooden monument was razed to the ground and a brick wreck was placed in its place. PS on the stone visible in some photos was a plaque "ANDRZEJ STRUG TADEUSZ GAŁECKI 1871-1937". After scrap collectors stole it in 1991, the Catholic University of Lublin remained deaf to any requests to recreate it. What is on the stone today, I do not know. There was nothing until we moved out.

I was at a doctorate party. Not bad inside but someone was trying to light a fireplace, it wasn't a good idea. It didn't work.

Manor house at the KUL dorms. Folwark Konstantynów, today called Poczejekka, was established in the 1860s. In 1880, Władysław Galecki purchased it. His son, Tadeusz, was brought up here, known more under the pseudonym as Andrzej Strug.
