A wonderfully piece of history. It was built as the offices quarters in the ww2 until it was taken over by the Russians. Abandoned for a while after the fall of the Soviet union before it was purchased by an investor. It was partialy restored but the cost and lack of support from the local authorities led to the owner giving up on it. Since then it has been partially burnt down and continues to deteriorate. It is an exciting place to explore but IT IS NOT A TOURIST ATTRACTION AND YOU ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! And there is very real risk in exploring it. Walls and floors are partially collapsed. Parts of the structure is sound, other parts really are not. You can be walking on what seems to be stable floor but there are weak spots. However i have been several times and other than almost falling down a hole here and there i have never had an incident and i have been all over it. Lots of people go in to explore and the well trodden path (free from most of the litter) on the ground floor is the safest part which most will walk around.

A bit of history hidden from us for many years. A hidden city of Soviet troops stationed in Poland and this is an officers' casino where Soviet officers probably enjoyed various entertainment. At the lake, surrounded by a forest, today it is a ruin, but you can still see the splendor of this place in recent years.

It is a pity that so little is visually left from the story. Looking at the photos from the heyday it is breathtaking.
