The church is the seat of the Orthodox parish in the deanery of Olsztyn, the Białystok-Gdańsk diocese. The building was built as an evangelical church in 1905, two years after the Catholic church was built. In 1945 it was taken over by the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Inside there is an iconostasis and two paintings, painted by a monk from the monastery of St. Onufry in Jabłeczna - a vision of Christianity being accepted by Kievan Rus and Saint. Vladimir.
