A beautiful building from the 19th century, once an exclusive hotel. Very well maintained. Nearby there are many benches, greenery and places to rest. A large parking lot.
One of the few buildings of the former old town that survived the destruction that the Red Army soldiers committed in March 1945. The Russians burned down practically the entire historic city center, which, unfortunately, was never rebuilt. In recent years, the facility has been thoroughly renovated and today it pleases the eyes of tourists and residents. Before WWII, the Monopol Hotel was located in a magnificent building, and now it is the County Office.
