The Holy Trinity Basilica in Chełmża is a former cathedral of the Chełmno bishopric. It is located on the embankment of the lake, it was built in stages from 1251 to the beginning of the 14th century. Later it was rebuilt and rebuilt several times. The reconstruction in 1968-1971 restored the church's original appearance.
It is a Gothic, three-nave church, with a hall corpus, with two towers from the west, of which only the northern one was built in full. The aisles are twice narrower than the main nave.
It looks particularly picturesque from the lake, being a high-class tourist attraction.
