The idea behind the creation of the church of st. Peter the Apostle was the establishment of the church together with the Bernardine Order in 1658. The founder of the temple was Piotr Czerny from Witowice. The present shape of the church is the result of the reconstruction after the fire in 1768. It is worth paying attention to the very interesting and valuable neo-baroque polychrome and the altar with a painting from the middle of the Of the twentieth century depicting St. Peter Doubting. The temple is often overlooked due to its location. The Archcathedral and Trinitarian Tower as well as the City Hall draw more attention here, but for those who want to find a different spiritual and historic place, it is no problem.
