No idea why this place exists, apart from the fact that everything is only in Polish there are just two rooms with cardboard cutouts, a statue and basically nothing else This was part of the Lublin pass, so I went. I'm beginning to think that I paid a lot of money for a scam, the tourist card was more expensive than Poznan or Cracow with, maybe, a quarter of things included

A museum worth visiting. They have an interesting (temporary) exhibition of Czechowicz's photos from the 1930s and next to them the same captured moments from the 90s. I recommend you to see the exhibition because of the very ingenious design. Thanks for nicely spent time:) One more on the ground floor, you can drink delicious coffee and eat a cookie😊

Although the museum is quite small, it presents the figure of the Lublin poet in a decent way. It is a pity (although it is understandable) that there are no more souvenirs of Czechowicz. A drawback - the exhibition could be a bit better thought out and spatially designed.

Literary Museum Józef Czechowicz is a museum in the Old Town of Lublin, a branch of the Lublin Museum. The main purpose of the facility is to collect, store, develop and share manuscripts, museum exhibitions, publications and scientific materials related to the life and work of Józef Czechowicz, as well as other writers from the Lublin region. It was opened on September 9, 1968, on the 29th anniversary of the death of the poet Józef Czechowicz. For almost 30 years it was housed in a historic cloister building at 10 Narutowicza Street. In 1999, it was temporarily placed in the manor house of Wincentego Pola, and on September 9, 2002, it inaugurated a new premises in an old townhouse at 3 Złota Street, donated by a well-deserved Of the Riabinin family in Lublin. The museum has numerous manuscripts of outstanding Polish artists: Czesław Miłosz, Wisława Szymborska, Zbigniew Herbert, Julian Tuwim, Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński and others. Attention is drawn to extensive photographic documentation of Lublin literary life, a collection of approximately 10,000 volumes, a collection of archival magazines, recordings, memorabilia and occasional prints. Permanent exhibitions include: "Józef Czechowicz 1903-1939", "History of the tenement house at Złota 3". Head of the Literary Department: dr Jarosław Cymerman. He took over the function from May 1, 2015.

There are almost no exhibits. Only cardboard boards everywhere. Ladies almost out of boredom walk on the walls and entertain themselves by braiding everything, even linoleum on the floor. The peak of their entertainment is the second breakfast. All events in this place are a simple cover to hide their laziness and complete lack of initiative. The museum management would not realize that he was giving them salaries for being bored. I have no idea what the meaning of this place is. Money goes horrendously a lot and the use of it is none. How do I know that? I was there for an internship. I almost died of boredom.
