I recommend visiting this museum. There are many interesting exhibits.
The former college of vicars was built in 1732-36 on the initiative of Bishop Krzysztof Antoni Szembek. The building had its headquarters min. Archives of the Kuyavian District, school and episcopal consistory. During the German occupation, the building was taken over by the Nazi police.
After the war, the building until 1956 had its headquarters in the Poviat Public Security Office, through which many Poles, active during the Second World War, operated in the Home Army and other independence organizations, and then Poles who did not reconcile with the communist system imposed by the Union Radzicki. The next tenant of the building was the civil police.
After the collapse of the communist system, the building returned to the Diocese of Włocławek. In 1994 the Episcopal Court was moved to the building, and in 2005 the Diocesan Museum was opened, where the most important memorabilia of the Diocese of Włocławek are displayed. In the years 2011-12, revitalization and extension of the Diocesan Museum at 3 Kopernika Square took place.
I recommend worth seeing. Is beautifully.
I was here for a piano recital. Beautiful music thanks to the young and talented artist. The room is not very big, for about 150 people, but the acoustics are very good. Nice place, but more importantly, there are special people there, extremely nice, kind, as my daughter put it - they deserve a medal :-); he always says that when he meets someone special, dedicated to work and people at the same time. I would highly recommend
I highly recommend it. It is a pity that the facility is open until 15:00 and the last entrance is an hour before closing. It's hard to be on time
