One of the Wojciechów monuments. The Świerzawski family clearly became part of the history of the village of Wojciechów. Normally closed. Keys at the Lord's church.

I recommend you to visit Wojciechów, made famous by Polish Blacksmiths. It is worth seeing the historic, wooden parish church, the cemetery and in the cemetery - the Świeżawski tomb chapel. Information from the Provincial Conservator of Monuments: "The grave chapel of the Świeżawski family at the funeral cemetery in Wojciechów was established during the possession of the Palikijko-Wojciechów estate by the Świeżawski family, which dates from 1904. The date of the construction of the chapel is unknown, but it had to be built before 1933, because Róża Świeżawska wrote the income from the lease this year 20 acres of land in Miłocin for the maintenance of the chapel. Due to the style features: eclecticism with elements of romanics - it should be dated before World War I. The inscription above the entrance proves that the property belongs to the owners: GRÓB RODZINY ŚWIEŻAWSKI. A brick chapel, plastered on both sides, wooden truss, cover and flashings of galvanized sheet. There are brick vaults inside. Stone floor. A single-storey chapel with a rectangular crypt, a lower semicircular apse, covered with a gable roof with brick gables and a semi-conical roof above the corner apse supported by pairs of straight buttresses reaching half the height of the chapel. Smoothly plastered interior. The body of the chapel is covered with a sail vault, in the apse there is a conch vault. On the axis of the side walls there are a pair of arcades with columns, like in the portal, with large semicircular windows. The floor is made of square stone slabs, among which the slab closes the currently inaccessible crypt. The crypt is located under the entire body of the chapel, vaulted with a cradle with lunettes over the vent holes. There are 3 narrow rectangular plaques embedded in the facade of the chapel with the following inscriptions: 1. plate above the portal: GRÓB FAMILY ŚWIEŻAWSKICH; 2. The plate along the course of the sim on the left side of the portal: O JESUS, INFINITELY GOOD; 3. plate along the sim on the right side of the portal: JOIN US IN YOUR KINGDOM. Volume 240m3, usable area 45m2 ".
