Camping Trindade

The location, very close to the city center and super nice beaches cast a shadow over a not so super clean but ok camping site. The camping area is absolutely ok for the price (10€ for a camper van w. 1 person). But be, aware the toilets are sniffy. For 1-2 nights absolutely nice and recommend from me.

Worst night ever on a camping site (mid August)! The ground was hard as stone, the infrastructure is old / used and it is quite obvious that the management is not taking any invests. Even worse, there was an irish / scottish couple drinking, arguing and puking (!) the whole night through. The staff told me that they are not responsible for that area but for the caravaning area only. Defenitely my first and only visit of that site!

Had had his best days long ago. Needs to have a renovation urgent.

Good location as you can walk to lovely beaches and town. Has a hostel vibe out the back and very chilled. Washing up facilities weren't cleaned for days though in the top area. Stay at the bottom as seemed much better there and cleaner.

Simple camping, friendly staff and cheap prices. Not your typical tourist camping site, but has its own charme. The camping site is located very central quite close to the city centre and the beach. Bathing area is clean, but there's some graffiti in some toilets. There is hot water in the showers so basically everything you need.
