Big market place..inside and out.. inc fresh local products from local smallhoder farmers..fish and meat etc from travelling tradesmen. Exterior..typical market products. Worth a visit..main problem is directions and signage in MdCovo..its a driving maze finding market and getting in and out..particularly the road you came in and directions..be aware if going onwards to Coimbra city shopping centre in your sat nav..it takes you onto some great roads..that is duel carriageways and a motorway with tolls..enter sat nav with 'no tolls' to avoid..have fun.

Wednesdays covered food market and exterior general market.. I found 'M do C' is not well signed at all..ive had difficulty on every occasion (4 visits including with sat nav) finding the market...getting in the town centre from and getting out to and from Coimbra, Poraise and Lousa..on one occasion i arrived in a farm yard..directed to the opposite way to where i wanted to go..onto a motorway with 2 tolls..roundabouts with no directions..twice today i had to guess and twice i had to turn round..worse place iv known in Portugal..let alone parking..its an absolute maze..today it was 34°..i finally got back to my vehicle hot and sweaty and stressed at the thought, where am i gojng to be led this time...personally i wont be going again.
