Lovely to see the men's work. Nice setting. Wish there was more.

The Museu Anjos Teixeira displays sculptures made by father and son Teixeira though mostly the son. Nudes mainly female, workers and animals and some sketches and photographs of the sculptor. English descriptions and information signs as well as Portuguese. Admission is only €1. It is worthwhile visiting if you have some extra time, though of course the palaces, Castelo dos Mouros, the Convento dos Capuchos and the Quinta da Regaleira should be higher priorities.

It's 4 rooms with replicas of statues by two guys. Really nothing exciting unless you're just burning with curiousity about who made some of the statues in the streets, and even then - it's only dedicated to one artist and his buddy, and the actual statues are scattered throughout the touristy parts of Sintra. The definition of 'meh'

Nice museum to visit in Sintra.

Museu Anjos Teixeira (Museum of Anjos Teixera) is an attraction in Sintra where you can see contemporary works of Portuguese sculptures, Arthur and Pedro Anjos Teixeira. The museum is located downhill from the curved street, Vulcha Dulche which links the area of Sintra around the rail station to the historic city centre area. In addition to the actual museum there are quite a few sculptures that have been placed along the Vulcha Dulche sidewalk as well. Like the Teixieira sculptures, these focus on contemporary human and animal representations, some of which are quite interesting to view if you are a fan of sculptures.
