Mainly ethnographic museum on the activities and related equipment of the island of Sao Jorge, on the life of the island's people, with a pleasant short documentary with vintage clips from the Portuguese television archive, and how the family of the owners, from Cuhna and Silveira, since the first settlements on the island in the late 1400s, has developed, with government duties, with economic and philanthropic activities, and has been inextricably linked to the history of the island. The family closes without heirs shortly before 2000. Today the building belongs to the Camara Municipal de Velas. Recommended a visit ....
