Very interesting and interactive museum. It's free so it's totally worth it if you have extra time. Not recommended if you want to go fast at your own pace. The entrance to each section is restricted to certain amount of people so you have to wait until the staff indicates that you can proceed. (Which is a good measure in Covid times and also in general but it definitely makes the visit slower).

Very nice and informative museum for those who are not experts on currencies and money in general. Very many interactive solutions and the history/storyline explanations were easy to follow and were not boring. Very good english translation everywhere and it had many clever ways to use ticket. Also found my country currency before Euro! 🇪🇪

One of the best if not the best museum I have ever been to. A huge variety of interactive elements which give interesting insights about money in a playful way. Definitely recommend visiting it even if you are not a regular museum goer since it's for free.

Lots of cool interactive exhibitions, so much information and fun stuff to do regarding the history of money (huge advertisement the bank of Portugal though) ...plus it's free entry! You'll spend more time here than you think you would

Amazing museum! Free entrance also. The security is tight for both mischief intent and also for covid19 rules. Felt super safe at all times. Even with all the interactive spots and learning tools. And it's not everyday you get to hold a 12,6kg gold bar!
