On my long walks in Lisbon I have passed this yellow building, which attracts attention several times. A plaque explains that this is the house where Carlos Botelho was born, a modernist painter whose paintings I appreciated on the texts of Art. The main subject and continuous source of inspiration until the last years of his life is Lisbon, his hometown. In many of his paintings I capture the true "soul" of the Portuguese capital, in aspects that make it so dear to me too. Too bad we couldn't visit the inside! I assume this is a private home.
