It is a nice initiative yet far from the long sought after national museum of the Discoveries that would encompass truly the history behind this amazing century. To take a good look into how we imagined its main protagonists and have a quick and highly digested knowledge of what happened, this is the place. The receptionist was very kind, and the souvenirs are also interesting. I think it takes 20 minutes to visit.

Small but beutiful vax museum of Portuguese discoverers. Here you can learn more about the Portuguese explorers, see how did they look like, learn more about this important era

Very interesting to find out about the history of friendship between Portugal and England! The Wax statues are so lifelike you expect them to start moving and talking!
