Camping Baía Azul

Great location, close to supermarkets. Beautiful views. Hot showers for 1 euro per person, felt safe. 10 euro for two people and a tent in May. Bring toilet paper.

This campsite is in a superb location in a lovely shell shaped lagoon and a town much favoured by the locals. The facilities are basic but functional on all fronts. €14 per night low season.

Simple place. Practical. Not expensive. Nice people. Amazing surroundings. Jaw dropping surroundings. I mean, the bay in front... seems taken from any classic romance novel like Robinson Crusoe or Blue Lagoon or any other... Its that difficult to be objective about the camping site, without being totally mesmerized by what's just here, on the other side of the road. Note to self: to come here to pass new years eve, at least once in life with the one you love. Its just that amazing. Second note to self: buy a house here.

Nothing special here, but nothing bad either.

Not a lot of atmosphere, but largish pitches, some near to electricity and taps. The site is situated on a lovely beach, with a walk along the coast to nearby town. Only stayed overnight, didn't use the facilities.
