Natural Monument Dinosaurs Footprints of Serra de Aire

It could be so much more, if you don't speak Portuguese you should get your information before going. Investing a little to atleast repair some of the information signs, would already improve the site. Still, it's nice to witness natural history and to stand in the footsteps of giants.

They are badly organized. It says that they're open till 8.00 pm. I came there at 7.15 pm and the guy working there wouldn't let me in anymore because he told me I couldn't walk the 1.5 km until 8.00 pm, which is a joke. They don't inticate anywhere that you have to be there way before closing time. So people like me just drive all the way there and then are not let in anymore. They give away very poor and incorrect information online.

Very poorly signed, and, being an open space outside, pets (small dog on a lead) are not allowed...

Incredible place for dinossaur and/or geology fans. Doesn't require guide, can use the info points on the way (some of them a bit outdated). Not the best with rain.

Good walk of 2km but could not see a single "pegada" it is being sell as the best in the wold so i expected a better perception. I have walked twice the huge place to find nothing. Few weeks ago i was looking for this place on my phone's GPS which i set wrongly and i drove to a place with lots of amazing dino steps, i was impressed for what i saw, so i thought this would be amazing and wanted to came back...what i saw it could be anything. I highly recommend the other place ...not so far by car from there, free of charge and real. Not as big and commercial but you will see what you are looking for.
