Camping Milfontes

Social distance and masks are not respected. Reception was closed on Sunday... but why, people don’t check-in on Sunday? Had to wait for what seems to be security guy which didn’t know much about the prices or anything really. I just left afterwards and stayed at a nice hostel in a more central place for the same price as putting up a tent there!

Toilets were not the best ones but the park is quite nice and full of shadows.

This campsite is pretty easy going but a little worn. The pitches are well spaced with mature hedging and trees throughout. It is well priced and offers some very reasonable discounts for long stays in the low season. The shower blocks are clean and the water always hot but expect grafitti on the cubicle doors. If that doesn't phase you then you will find a nice site well placed for all amenities.

I have gone there twice now in the Summer, both times to the tent area. It has nicely shaded places, well-kept bushes and a nice ambiance in general. The pool has salted water and is gorgeous, and the beaches are within walking distance but there is also a pretty tram which passes by the camping site and goes to them, taking a scenic route (it is around 2 euros per trip and runs nearly all day).
