Quinta do Retiro

What a wonderful place! We stayed two weeks there with our caravan, 2 kids and a dog and enjoyed it so much. Beautiful nature, great playground, wonderful atmosphere, super nice hosts and the best bathroom we had in 15 months of camping journey :-) Thank you so much, we will come back for sure.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful campsites we've ever stayed at. We've camped at hundreds of campsites all over Europe and this is easily one of the best. The pool is to die for, the pitches are enormous (ours actually had three separate areas, and all come with a wooden table, bench and even sun loungers!) ... the owner is lovely and just makes everything so easy. No silly rules, no wrist bands ... just trusts people. Toilet block spotless. Everything you need, everything thought-through. Absolutely loved this place. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you!

Very good equipped vacation place

It´s a lovely quiet place in beautiful countryside. It´s for people who like to hear the silence of the stars at night. It´s clean and spacious, with a great water pool filled with water from a small river. I spent there two nights which I ´ll remember for long.

Wonderful 3 day stay. Large pitches offering good privacy and with 2 dogs brilliant that they could have their own space. They loved being able to go down and swim in the steam. Excellent facilities / spotlessly clean shower/loo and kitchen building and great there is a washing machine. Loved the natural pool. Extremely friendly and we felt very much at home.
