Camping Alpiarça

Very expensive camping (33euros for 1 caravan and 1 van and 4 people). Beautiful pool. Chickens, cats, dogs walk around free, old toilets and showers. So uninviting that we didn't even use them. Nice view. Lots of flies. You pick your own spot. Almost shade only.

The camping is nice. The people are really helpful. They have a great pool. They are near a lot of activities. Bathrooms were clean. Can cook bbq.

The only good thing was the pool. The personnel, the tall vegetation and the conditions of the equipment were awful. I strongly advise not to use this camping.

Lovely little eco-camp. Fabulous owners and the whole place has a very spiritual feel in touch with Mother Nature. Beautiful walks and a nice little town in walking/cycling distance. Also an open Farm/stables/restaurant near by. Lots for kids to explore and do even out of season. Chickens, ducks, a pot bellied pig and the owners rescue dogs roam free. Great if you have a friendly dog. Our 6 month old puppy loved playing with the pack. €19 for motorhome, two adults, two kids and power. Once bathroom improvements are complete (imminently) it will be great.

The campground is in nice shape, and I don't have any major complaints, though I do want to point out a few things: 1 - You cannot pay with bank cards, so don't forget to hit the ATM before you pay 2 - They have their own dogs on the loose, so we had our tent peed on, not nice. 3 - There is an animal farm nearby, lots of roosters, donkeys, horses, etc, so you might want to consider bringing some earplugs.
