Santa Catarina Park

This is a lovely big park! Maintained in great condition, with beautiful views on the sea and the shoreline. Lots of benches, a pond with birds, fountains, huge unpaved grass area to make a picnic. It's missing a children playground, though, that's a bit of a bummer.

After a long day and adventures on the island, the park in Funchal is a great place to relax. Various species of trees from around the world, flowers and a perfect view of the city and the port. Plus a lot of space for everyone, especially for kids.

Lovely park in the heart of Funchal. You can find some lovely coffees and great panoramic views to the bay of funchal. You find here the Colombus statue.

Very beautiful and calm area. Loved to sit down and eat some breakfast. Small pond with a great view of the city.
