The house of tea ( a casa de chá) is a really nice spot if you are up to good coffee and cakes, they are always fresh home made different flavors, the service awesome as if you are in home, Nuno Carlos was very nice and polite explained to me the kinds of cakes (I have sweet tooth) and I had the orange cake, the yogurt cake and my favorite the honey shell nut and it was awesome, I also had a chocolate cream cheese cake If you are at madeira island visiting and you find yourself in Machico wandering around come to casa de chá and have a nice time. Note aside it used to be closed but with new ownership the attention is being improved drastically I personally recommend it
