If you want to get to know Porto Santo, you cannot avoid this museum / man (José Cardina). You seldom see something like this created from your own ideas, strength and dedication! Everything and that in the truest sense of the word is self-built, collected and / or recreated. We were and are more than impressed by this love for our homeland and the preservation of its history. But not only that. You can keep the memory for a long time and, figuratively speaking, "take it home"! In the museum you can also buy the self-made wine "Cardina" after a tasting. A treat as we find it! There is also a tip! Not far from the museum is the "Torres" restaurant. That is family owned. We have seldom eaten such an excellent BBQ as there! So a visit to the museum and then a stop at the Torres restaurant for physical well-being. You will "not" regret it!
