Cetobriga Roman Ruins

Beautiful place...calm and relaxing. Nothing there apart from the ruins but the view is amazing.

Historical ruins. Interesting, plenty of explanations about the history and what you are seeing. It's not too big and the entrance is paid. However there's a site still not open to the public with excavations in progress. The road to reach the ruins is dirt and only fits one car in some places. Recommended to drive slowly specially around bends.

Beautifully hidden at the end of a rocky path. Lovely view, worth the bikeride. Loved the fact that the entrance fee for hikers and bikers was 2 euros cheaper than the entrance fee if you come by car. Best way to preserve the tranquility.

Short but very interesting tour. Guides are very friendly and fluent in english. The abandoned boats on the beach near the ruins are also recommendable.

A very interesting site. The most important salted fish factory in all Roman Empire, you can see where they worked, bathed, died and even where Roman tourists ised to go. I found it amazing especially because tjere is a mix of Roman and Christian culture when the latter was not yet the official religion. There are so many ruins under the sand dunes yet to uncover. Amazing.
