Park Verde do Mondego

Beautiful beautiful lovely huge park . In the summer it's a sight to see with good pristine ambience flanking the river....

It's a calm place to spend an afternoon or even have a picnic.

Lovely park! Great area for a walk, run, picnic, stroll, outdoor workout or yoga. Plenty of places to go within the park, including the iconic bridge that looks like it doesn't go all the way across (but it does) with its neat history of being built for an unrequited love. There is a duck pond, and a massive statue of a teddy bear (which I loved because I love bears!). There are public restrooms & at least one little kiosk at which you can buy ice cream, snacks, beverages or beer. Highly recommend!
