Camping Albufeira

First off its a great campsite and comes recommended, I would of given 5 stars but they made a mistake on our card and overcharged for a month, they refunded the 400 odd quid but it did not show on our account, we asked if we could pay the correct bill for the month when the refund showed on the account as our bank said it would take 8 days. And paying twice and being over £400 down for 8 days, out of our budget, would make things difficult.We offered to leave our passports but they refused saying we could only pay a higher day rate until the refund had cleared. This seemed very unfair to us as it was there mistake. Like I said its a great site but check carefully when paying. A real shame our experience started like this

Beutiful and very well organized camp with all infrastucture you may need, very clean sanitars and friendly staff. Just a minutes away from the town and close to major attractions, beaches, aquaparks and other. Tourist animations on the pool and everyday evening concerts. Shops, 3 pools, SPA, friendly staff, tourist office, booking of all excursions and much more. Recommend!

Our experience could not have been more disappointing. We have stayed in this camping more than once but found its conditions to be deteriorating. The most striking: lack of care for public health during a pandemic, lack of noise control and lack of recycling bins. Some of the cleaning staff wears no mask while working/talking in the bathrooms, most guests do not use masks properly there, even though it is mandatory. Facilities are signed as clean even though it is identical to the previous day in the morning. No temperature control or any other whatsoever. It was customary to have drunk guests making noise at 5 am but there is no control. Apparently plastic is garbage and non-recyclable all the way. As a camping facility, I was very surprised to see this kind of indifference. This used to be the best camping in Portugal. Now, it is the worst.

Good shower good cleaning and its a good place to stay for a longer time

Very nice camping, a bit close to the road but a few minutes drive from the centre of Albufeira. Lots of space and green and olive trees, facilities very clean and all for a good price. The swimming pools are closed for restoration, call to check when they will reopen
