Loved this small camping, very rustic, very quiet apart from the occasional donkey's bray at night. The sanitary block doubles as the library and information room but most usefully also has a fridge for the guests use. You can swim in the nearby reservoir which is just a short walk away across a field. The sunsets are magnificent so face your tent west. Very near to Evora and some megalithic sites.

Small "campsite" in a middle of a nowhere. It looks like that camping not exist or it's closed but it is open when you open the gate. :-) Amazing stars seeing. Silence only animals sounds. Good toailet and shower. Not for everyone one but if you looking for escape before houndreds of turist in Algarve this place will be your paradise. We stay there one night on honeymoon and owner of farm give us bottle off vine.

If you want a commercial chain camping experience, this is not that. This is better! Drive the extra 10km outside Évora for a tranquil farm with camping. There are sheep and donkeys as well as chickens. One chicken spent a good portion of the evning milling around our site. George the owner is super nice. His English was very good. The electrical source is at the communal building but he used one of his extra cords to extend our short cord that came with the rental campervan. As a side note, if you are renting a campervan, either bring your own extension cord or ask for an extra one. There are lots of trees for shade and the pitches are not marked but people space themselves out accordingly. The sunset over the pastures was on fire the night we stayed. There are also lots of white stork nests on the property and from our pitch we had an up close view of feeding time. The showers and toilets are clean and work just fine. Hot water was plenty. Cleaning station. I didn’t ask about a gray water or any other type of dumping setup as we did not need it. Our van WiFi was weak but for $3EU you can login to the camp WiFi and it works great. We arrived and he main gate was closed - because they have cattle and sheep on the grounds - just unhitch it, drive though and lock it back up. There will be a sign pointing to camping area. There will be one more gate to open/close and the pitches are to your left. The hosts will bake you fresh bread if you order the night before. They also advertise that they will make you a home cooked meal on Tues or Thur with advance notice. They also offer personal tours of some historic sites in the area. We like quiet and non commercialized places to camp where people are not stacked on top of each other. In this particular case, the additional 10km past the Orbitur outside Évora was worth the drive for this gem.
