Parque de Campismo Municipal da Furna

Great place indeed, with trees and enough sade for everyone. But.. 17 euros for a tent and 2 people were just too much!! Also, the showers supposedly have hot water which is not the case. In other islands we came across much cheaper and better camping parks!

Free camping. The earth is basically rocks, so it's a bit difficult to nail a tent but the environment is beautiful. Showers are really old and could use some repair.

Was here on October 20th. Be aware that the campingsite is apparently closed for winter these days.

Great location. Everything you need. Lots of trees for shade. Close to supermarket. One minute walk to the ocean. Laid back and friendly.
