Camping Beira-Marvao Alentejo

Really nice camping site with stunning nature. It’s very organized and the owners really care for nature and animals. The owners are really thoughtful and really try to make everyone’s stay as good as possible. Great breakfast and the pool had amazing views! It was def the best camping we’ve seen so far in Portugal

We had, with other guests from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, in June / July, so after the lockdown, a safe and certainly pleasant holiday location at this campsite in the middle of nature. Very friendly, hardworking, owners who speak the languages, were always willing to chat and provide information and ensure adequate yet friendly prevention of the corona situation. Strangers who just wanted to visit the campsite out of curiosity, just like that and even by car, were not just admitted, so we knew ourselves even safer, reason to stay here for 5 weeks, because the prevention was clearly in order, but not pushy present, so that it was just very pleasant, the mutual contacts were fine. Beautifully situated, beautiful views, sanitary okay. Very helpful owners. Good food and nice pool. Beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking tours, information and plans are also provided by the managers. Next November we definitely come back, we booked 3 months for a unique low rate.

This a lovely quiet camping in the middle of the countryside. The pool is just what you need when it is 36°C. On arrival you are given a booklet with lots of useful information on the area and there are also maps available for walks and trips out. The sky is so clear at night if you are a star gazer it is a perfect location and you can even borrow a telescope! It is also a perfect location to visit the many megalithic sites in the surroundings. I only gave it 4* as there are no recycling bins apart from glass.
