Good place to stop for a smoke and walk around the small garden if your travelling around.

Remains of the castle show a standing wall and a door. You can walk on top of the door. It is nice to know that after D. Afonso Henriques conquered this castle it was never lost even after several siege attempts. This was an extremely hard place to attack.
