FUNERAL IN ROSTOV-ON-DON (or “bury me in the trash bin) May 8, 2019 the funeral of my mother Pakhomova Nadezhda Mikhailovna took place in the 22nd quarter at the Northern cemetery of Rostov-on-Don. Mom lived 91 years old, she has two children, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. All her life, up to seventy years old, she worked conscientiously, gave us an education. For our part, we tried to make the funeral worthy. The procedure for burial spent 50 000 rubles. What a horror it was when we were taken to the burial site: a mountain of garbage towered near the grave. Dear Rostov citizens, do not waste your modest savings on the purchase of expensive ritual accessories, but rather direct your efforts to the search for a POCKET in which you could put 50 thousand (probably more) and which would help you to get a decent place to bury your loved ones. A place where you would not be ashamed to bring your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our children live in other countries and we sent them a photo of the grandmother’s grave (to our shame and regret) against the background of a trash can. Today is May 9, Victory Day. When the war began, my mother was not 14 years old, they had been occupied by the Germans for a year, she knew this war in full, she honestly lived her hard life.
