At the end of 1942, a large-scale burial of soldiers-participants of the Great Patriotic War took place on the Moscow Mountain. In 1955-1957, in this place, the reburial of remains from mass graves from 197 villages and villages of the entire region took place. The memorial complex includes a 15-meter long bayonet-shaped obelisk. Pay attention to the steps that connect Moscow Mountain with the obelisk. A mass grave is located at the top of the Moscow Mountain. At the end of 2002, not far from the memorial complex, a large memorial stone was installed on which the words of K.S. Diodorova were written. In 2005, the opening ceremony of another memorial stone with the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union and holders of the Honorary Order of Glory took place

They did it perfectly, but the names of the soldiers are hard to read, the toilets don't work, but in steel everything is very fine. The photo is just lovely

The memorial needs updating, but there is someone to bow to. And what a view of the Volga, just amazing. Such heights could not be given to a fascist.
