Memorial "Mednoye"

It is worth visiting, especially with children, and remembering the history of Russia.

The place is not popular. There was nobody besides us. The museum did not work, apparently. The tracks are not cleaned, slippery. The plates are covered with snow. The Russian part suggests that the state does not need this part of history. It was interesting for me to visit this place, since before that I was in the Nilo-Stolbensky monastery and Katyn.

The Pilgrimage of Police Families in 1939 in the year of the 100th Anniversary of the appointment of the State Police to the Polish Miednoje War Cemetery in Russia, took place on September 3, 2019. This is where nearly 6,300 Polish Policemen and officers of other Uniformed Services of the Second Republic lie, murdered at Stalin's order in April 1940 by the executioners of the Soviet NKVD.
