Truvor settlement

Very interesting place with the Old Viking from Roslagens grave.

The chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is so unusual that it vaguely reminded me of the film Crimson Rivers 😄 Nothing remained of Old Izborsk except the hill on which it was previously located. If you go a little further behind the chapel, you can see the Truvor cross. Around it, if you look at the slabs, there are signs that look like runes, but these are not runes. But what it is, until now it was not possible to understand ... It is considered a place of power, although, in fact, Truvor was not buried here. The cross was erected in the 15th century.

There are no excavations there. The church stands and everything is overgrown with grass. But the view from there is amazing.

I haven't been here for 5-7 years. Wonderful! Such power!
