Even while studying at the Penza Art School, I often visited that gallery. There I studied with great masters of painting. 20 years have passed since then and the gallery seemed very interesting to me now. The permanent exhibition contains paintings by many famous Russian artists. Not every museum can boast of such exhibits. Now there is an exhibition from the collection of Penza artists. I was delighted with these talents of the Soviet era and modern times. Among them there are many teachers of the Penza Art School named after KA Savitsky, many graduates of this school. Who will be in Penza, I highly recommend visiting - you will not regret

Great place, I advise you to visit. The employees tell about the history of the gallery, about the paintings and exhibits on display in a rather detailed and detailed way. There is an opportunity to watch accompanying films for the paintings exhibited in the museum of one painting, as well as the paintings themselves. Films are shown on Saturdays in the green hall, but it is also possible on prior order.
