Nekropol' Spaso-Andronikova Monastyrya

The site in front of the Spaso-Andes Ronik Monastery has long been the subject of controversy among historians and entrepreneurs. In the zeros there were barbecue and shooting gallery. But still managed to prove its cultural value. The heroes of the wars in which Russia won were buried on this territory: from the Battle of Kulikovo to the 1812 war. And here representatives of such well-known surnames as the Baryatinsky, Trubetskoys, Tolstoys, Saltykovs, Shcherbatovs, Naryshkins are buried. As well as victims of repression, who were shot in a concentration camp, located here at the beginning of the last century. Now restoration work is underway and in the near future there will be a Memorial.
