Pamyatnik "Katyusha"

November 22, 1986, near the village of Karasevka was erected a monument-memorial to the legendary "Katyusha", which reminds the present generations of the heroism of the soldiers of the 4th Guards mortar regiment, which played a decisive role in the liberation of the Krasnozorensk district. At the last moment of the expulsion of the German fascist invaders from the territory of our district, there was a battle on the night of December 15, 1941. In this battle, near the village of Verkhnaya Lyubovsha, captain of the fourth mortar regiment "Katyusha" V.M. Solomin, saving the pitted "Katyusha" from capture by the enemy, caused fire on himself. Captain V.M. Solomin and 26 guardsmen were killed with him. But the secret installation of the BM-13 did not go to the enemy. The memorial was built with the assistance of Marshal of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Soviet Union, Victor Georgievich Kulikov. At the opening of the monument was attended by the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Fourth Guards Mortar Regiment, V.M. Chumak, the sons of the deceased captain V.M. Of Solomin.
